Our Story:

Brick Loot was founded in 2013 by 9-year-old Parker Krex. At the time, Parker had a deep love for LEGO and accumulated a massive collection.

Parker received his first LEGO set when he was 3 and he immediately fell in love with brick building. He started reviewing his sets on YouTube at the age of 4. Here, his true passion for sharing LEGO with the world began.

For Parker's 9th birthday, he asked his parents for a geek/gamer subscription box. He wanted to see what all the hype was about, as he had watched countless YouTube unboxing videos. The box arrived during their annual family garage sale. This was Parker's favorite time of year, as it gave him a chance to sell his non-LEGO toys to fund his ever-growing LEGO collection.

When Parker opened the subscription box, all he found inside was a comic book, pair of socks, and an air freshener. He was super disappointed, as this was all useless to him. He thought "Wouldn't it be awesome to get a box filled with custom LEGO sets every month?" Parker and his mother looked at each other and the light bulb went off! Parker and his mom, Erin, worked together to develop a business plan during the garage sale that weekend. Next, he created a Shark Tank-type pitch to encourage his father, Steve, to invest in the business. It worked! With entrepreneurs for parents, Parker certainly has the gene to build a successful business. His creative parents also love LEGO, and with a solid business plan in place, they were ready to work together make Parker’s dream a reality.

Over the past 7 years, Parker has assumed more and more responsibilities at Brick Loot. He works every day after school as Brick Loot’s Chief Entertainment Officer (CEO) and he loves finding new designers for custom kits, searching for new products, and of course testing all the items!

Today, Brick Loot continues to offer a fun and popular subscription box service and we also specialize in creative brick and LEGO sets, custom LEGO minifigures, custom lighting kits for LEGO sets, and so much more for brick enthusiasts of all ages!
